Our commitment to science, research and teaching

The annual fees from our members and other donations form the basis for our support for research and teaching at RWTH Aachen. Contributions from external partners – for example as part of fundraising campaigns – expand the range of help, for example for

• theoretical or practical scientific projects by institutes and student research teams
• international and interdisciplinary workshops, conferences and congresses
• purchases to improve teaching and practice-oriented training
• annual grants for the rector of RWTH Aachen University (for scientific exchange and cooperation between RWTH Aachen University and universities at national and international levels e.g. strategic partnerships)
